As a French woman, cooking has always been central in my life. I grew up in a family in which we grew our own fruits and vegetables, and bred animals as well. That's how I developed taste and respect for food. At home, there was always someone active in the kitchen and willing to transmit their knowlegde.
Today with Fait Maison, I would like to share with you my love for cooking, offering French regional specialities made according to French traditional recipies.
The pastries I bake characterize the soils and climates found in their regions of origin. They are rustic and tasty, just the way my grand-mother used to make them.
The Fait Maison pastries are hand made (sand pastry, short bread pastry and toppings) with the best ingredients (fresh, and biological as much as possible), I only use butter and cream.
No hydrogenated fat or preservatives are used. The French tarts and cakes are thin; they contain just enough sugar and eggs to enhance the taste of the rest of the ingredients.
I work to order for parties and cocktail parties. Refined quiches, appetizers, tarts and cakes buffets guaranteed!
A nice buffet shouldn't only be about the gustatory sensation, therefore, I take care of the visual pleasure as well by offering a nicely dressed table according to the French Savoir vivre (including table cloths, flowers and settings).
